dreams versus goals.

let me tell you the difference between a dream and a goal.


a dream is simply a wish. no action. (in the words of cinderella, 'a dream is a wish your heart makes..') for example:
i dream of becoming a mermaid. (true story)
i wish i could meet justin bieber. (another true story)


a goal is a dream put into action. you 'map out' what you are going to do. for example:
my goal is to be a multi-billionaire by the time i turn twenty five. (oh yes)


but what am i going to do to become a multi-billionaire?
first- i started babysitting when i was ten years old.
second- i got a 'real' job at fifteen.
third- i save. a ton. i started my savings account when i was about eight.
ect. you get the idea. 


now dreams are not bad, they are the start to your goal. more often than not, i will use the term 'dream' instead of 'goal' simply because i prefer the word 'dream'. 


just make sure you know what is a dream and what is a goal.
